About the project
The mobile application for the Pardubice VI municipal district was created as a modern tool for communicating with residents, managing information and simplifying everyday administrative processes. The district wanted a solution that was not off-the-shelf, but built precisely around its rules, structure and identity.The goal was to create one place where residents could find news, the official notice board, waste collection schedules, transport information, associations, surveys and a way to report issues.

Solution
We designed the application entirely to measure, from UX and visual identity to the structure of its features. The solution now includes:
- An official notice board connected to the district website
- News and the district newsletter
- A calendar of events and waste collections
- Issue reporting with photos and location
- Transport connections
- Associations and clubs with their own profiles
- Surveys and polls
- Resident profiles and notifications

Technology
The application is built on modern cross-platform technology that enables native behaviour on iOS and Android. The mobile part runs on Flutter / React Native and provides fast loading, stable operation and secure data storage. The backend is built on a proven NestJS and Elasticsearch stack, ensuring high reliability and scalability. Administration is handled through Strapi CMS, which enables simple content management and connection to an open API. The entire system runs in Kubernetes with Helm, making the operation robust, monitored and ready for long-term growth.

Results
The application is now successfully running in Pardubice VI and has become the main digital channel between the district office and residents. Officials gained a tool that simplifies their work, reduces administration and enables them to publish information without duplication.
Residents have an overview of what is happening in the district, can quickly find official documents, receive notifications and report issues directly from their phones. The project has delivered measurable benefits in awareness, service accessibility and resident participation.
